Meditative State

Meditative State is an installation that is visualising the mediative state of the viewer by measuring the brain activity using EEG sensor. The more relaxed the you are the less intense is the movements of the animation.

The brain waves are recorded wirelessly by a MyndPlay Headband sensor placed on the forehead. The movements of the particles is manipulated by the Alpha and Delta signals that is used as input.The values from the brain sensor is passed through to the visualisation by an OSC application. The animation in produced and rendered in realtime using TouchDesigner.
