Brorfelde Observatory was an active workplace for astronomers and recognised for producing world-class scientific instruments. Today the observatory are used as a museum experience where visitors can explore how Denmark’s largest telescope been used and how it works.
The project is made in Unity3D and displayed in the museum with an 24” touch screen. The game is about planning an observation from the telescope, to show the challenges of an observation. The user have to choose which season, time of the day and what moon phase that they want to observe at. In the end there is a more playful element when they have to try to catch the best weather.
This is a project I did as a intern at YOKE. I have only worked with the programming of the app. I haven't worked with the design or concept of the app.
